If you are still using traditional methods like a clipboard, paper, and pen, or a complicated package scanning solution to log your incoming express carrier deliveries, then QTrak is worth considering.
QTrak enhances the iPhone and iPod cameras, enabling them to function as high-speed barcode readers that can recognize carrier barcodes. This allows QTrak to quickly capture package-tracking information for all UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL shipments.
With the QTrak application, the item can be easily routed and, if necessary, an email or text message can be sent to notify the recipient. The entire receiving process takes less than 10 seconds.
At the point of delivery, the recipient can conveniently sign for the package(s) directly on their iPhone or iPod.
All receiving and delivery data, including a digital image of the signature, is transferred in real-time via the iPhone 3G connection or the user's wireless network to a secure cloud database. This database can be accessed through a web portal.
Managers utilizing the QTrak website can search for item delivery details and retrieve comprehensive package history. This includes information such as who received the package, when it was received, who delivered it, when it was delivered, who signed for it, and an image of their signature. Authorized individuals can also access this information directly or have it emailed to them.
